About Your Team

Karla Brinker, RDH

Karla is originally from Tulsa where she studied dental hygiene at Tulsa Community College, graduating and becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1999. She and her husband Erich moved to Edmond in 2007 with their two children Aaron and Abbey. At that time she worked through a dental temp agency so she could tailor her schedule each week to fit her young kids needs. She gained invaluable experience over the years filling in for other hygienists and working in many different office environments throughout central Oklahoma. She briefly temped at Cross Timbers in early 2020 and knew right away this office was something special, she became a permanent member of our team shortly after.

When she is not in the office Karla enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, shopping, watching "reality" TV and doing crafts of any type! She and her family are members of North Pointe Baptist Church in Deer Creek where she can usually be found helping with the children's craft activities, planning craft nights for her ladies group or decorating the church for special events.

The thing that she loves most about her career in dental hygiene is meeting new people and building relationships with her patients and their families. She prides herself on being a "gentle hygienist" and will always take the time to ensure her patients are as comfortable as possible during treatment. Karla is proud to call Cross Timbers Family Dental her home and can't wait to see your smile!
